The condition of coral reefs in the district Pangkep

Pangkajene districts and islands ( Pangkep ) located in the province of South Sulawesi . As the name implies ... Pangkep consists of many islands . The islands are there in Pangkep among other island ... Island Balang Balang Lompo Caddi ' ... Salemo Island ... Island ... Sabutung Saugi Island .... Island .... Island Kulambing Kapoposang .... and much more . As a district that consists of the islands of the lives of the people living in Pangkep islands around Pangkajene highly dependent on the sea . Dependence is of course related to the livelihood of the population in the islands as a fisherman .We need to know that it is the habitat of fish around the coral reef ecosystem . With the health of coral reef fish will be plentiful . This will make a prosperous fisherman . 

 So that people's lives Pangkep especially in the islands depend heavily on coral reef conservation 

.In some islands reefs karangnnya Pangkajene quite alarming but there are also quite healthy coral reefs . When I was a grade 1 high school , organized a study tour to Lompo Balang Island , as happened to one of my friends came from the island . There we find marine biota around the coast . I was looking for a place around the marine life , I found some dead coral . But even so we are discovering marine life such as starfish , small fish , and jellyfish . Which led to the death of coral around the place was probably due to domestic waste or household garbage scattered around the coast . And also because the island is still lacking which has a bath wash latrine ( toilet ) so they dump sludge at sea , as a result when we search for marine life , one of my friends had found feces floating on the sea , this is probably one of the things that causing the death of coral reefs around the area .But , it turns out in other parts of the island Balang Lompo have a lot of healthy coral reefs . According to the news I heard the condition of coral reefs in the island has improved since the island was used as one of the COREMAP care . This indicates that kasadaran coastal community of the importance of healthy coral reefs are increasing.But lately I heard that Pangkep experiencing a problem where smakin many coral bleaching experience ..... This means that we must increase our efforts to prevent corals from bleaching events . But actually this condition is not only happening in Pangkep but also threaten the whole ecosystem of coral reefs around the world due to global conditions we are not allowed anymore , Why do I say that? ? ? Because right now, we are experiencing earth " Global Warming " , This will cause rising sea temperatures due menigkatnya earth's temperature due to greenhouse effect . Important things we need to know that there are other organisms that support the life of coral algae called algal Zooxanthella , where algae are very sensitive to changes in sea water temperature . In the event of an increase in sea water temperature is high enough it will make the algae leaves coral host and become involved in things that we know as coral bleaching ( bleaching ) .So if we want to preserve the coral reef ecosystem then we also have to protect our Earth from " Global Warming " . Take care of our planet for the generations to come , pity them if we pass on to them just karusakan nature . Indonesia is known for its natural resources are abundant . Do not let it disappear from Indonesia .
